Four Pillars
Our four key pillars – courage, faith, knowledge and community – were identified as being the essence of life at St Bede’s Catholic College. These four pillars had their origins in the four student houses of Benedict, Dominic, Marian and McAuley.
The four pillars are all interconnected and linked back to the College’s motto of Shine with Christ’s Glory, which in turn is linked back to the Maitland Newcastle’s Diocesan’s Vision ‘At the heart of everything is always Jesus Christ’.

Help us to shine with the glory of Christ.

To take a stand for JUSTICE.
To always communicate with TRUTH.
To reach out in LOVE.
Teach us to live in COMMUNITY.
To speak up with COURAGE.
To strive for KNOWLEDGE.
and to step out in FAITH.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
