Students conduct an independent investigation in Geography to enhance the liveability of either Chisholm or their own suburb. They utilise persuasive language techniques to pitch their idea in a 3 – 4-minute speech. Students cover the following components:
- Persuasive language and public speaking techniques and structures.
- An identified problem, issue or challenge to liveability in the local area.
- Ways to enhance liveability in the local area and potential solution(s).
- Persuasive arguments as to why the potential solution(s)should be implemented to enhance liveability.
