During this integrated unit, students consider the ways that ideologies form over time and our contemporary understanding of these ideas, values and beliefs. In History, students explore the formation and evolution of ideas about Nationhood in modern Australia and our perspectives on what and who we represent. In English, students explore Indigenous Australian perspectives through texts which challenge ways of thinking about race, society and culture.
